Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. As a member of the Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015; and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Her career in politics began in 2001 when she began working on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary to President Obama's 2012 reelection campaigns. [20] Psaki was named the spokesperson of the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation she would replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, in the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 in 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications, and she remained until the conclusion of Obama's presidency.
