Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, and also a television host at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they'd leave the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new fascination with politics due to the fact that she became a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed how it affected the people in that country, and came to appreciate for US political influence across the globe. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
